1. About the Platform

FinanceGenius.ai ("Platform") is a technology-driven financial product comparison and AI advisory service. We aggregate publicly available information about financial products from banks, NBFCs, and insurance companies in India, and provide AI-powered guidance to help users make informed decisions.

We are not a bank, NBFC, insurance company, stockbroker, investment advisor, or any Regulated Entity (RE) under RBI, SEBI, or IRDAI regulations. We do not lend money, accept deposits, issue insurance policies, or manage investments.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of India to use this Platform. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. AI Advisory Disclaimer

The AI-powered recommendations and analysis provided through FinanceGenius.AI are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute:

• Financial advice under any applicable Indian regulation
• Investment advice under SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations
• Insurance advice under IRDAI regulations
• A guarantee of product eligibility, approval, or interest rates

Product details, interest rates, eligibility criteria, and offers displayed on the Platform are sourced from public data and may not reflect real-time changes. Always verify directly with the financial institution before making a decision.

4. User Obligations

• Provide accurate information when creating your profile or seeking recommendations.
• Keep your OTP and account credentials confidential.
• Do not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to circumvent financial regulations.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the AI system.
• Do not upload fraudulent or misleading financial documents.

5. Consent and Data Processing

By using the Platform, you consent to our data processing as described in our Privacy Policy. We collect granular, purpose-specific consent during registration and allow you to manage your consent preferences at any time through your account settings.

Mandatory consents (Terms of Service and Privacy Policy acceptance) are required to use the Platform. Optional consents (marketing, analytics, third-party sharing) can be independently accepted or declined without affecting core service functionality.

6. Third-Party Products and Services

When you click "Apply" or express interest in a financial product, you may be redirected to the respective financial institution's website or application. At that point, the institution's own terms, privacy policy, and application process apply. FinanceGenius.ai is not a party to any transaction between you and a financial institution.

7. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Delete Account.
• A 30-day grace period applies before permanent data deletion.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Certain data may be retained after deletion as required by law (see Privacy Policy, Section 6).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, FinanceGenius.ai shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, reliance on AI-generated recommendations, or any financial decision made based on information provided through the Platform.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

10. Changes

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
